Antique Stores in Asheville:

Antique Tobacco Barn

https://www.atbarn.com/

The Antique Tobacco Barn is a treasure trove of vintage finds. Housed in a historic tobacco barn right outside Biltmore Village, this expansive antique store offers a diverse collection of furniture, decor, and unique items from various eras. Whether you're a collector or just love exploring the past, Antique Tobacco Barn is a must-visit destination.

Slide on those comfy shoes and be ready to explore for a good bit of time, because this old barn is big and FILLED with goodies. They even have a little coffee shop at the entrance so you get a warm drink while you browse. Though it isn’t the cheapest of places to find items, it has a good selection!

Sweeten Creek Antiques

Sweeten Creek Antiques in the south end of Asheville, NC is a charming antique store known for its curated selection of timeless pieces. From classic furniture to quirky collectibles, this shop has something for every antique enthusiast. The warm and inviting atmosphere adds to the pleasure of discovering hidden gems at Sweeten Creek Antiques.

This is a less traversed shop, and I’ve found quite a few goodies here for myself at affordable prices!

Regeneration Station

Regeneration is a standout antique store in Asheville, NC, specializing in up-cycled and repurposed treasures. This eco-conscious shop transforms vintage items into unique and sustainable pieces for modern living. Explore Regeneration for a blend of history and creativity, where each item tells a story of renewal.

I’d say this is the more affordable and curated option, if you don’t like hunting through items to find a treasure. This place has more items on show and makes it easier to browse.

Screen Door

A beloved fixture in Asheville’s community, Screen Door is an antique marketplace that showcases a curated selection of antiques, vintage finds, and artisan creations. This eclectic store is known for its vibrant atmosphere and a diverse array of items, making it a favorite destination for those seeking one-of-a-kind pieces.

It leans toward the pricier side, but I’ve always come away with something that I love every time I walk through. From rugs to coffee table books and so much more!

There is talk of this place shutting down sometime soon, so make sure you get a visit in soon, just in case! It’s a gem, for sure.

Marquee

https://marqueeasheville.com/

Marquee, located in the River Arts District of Asheville, is an eclectic store with a focus on vintage and industrial items, but they also have lots of local art and cool creations. This stylish and well-curated shop offers a mix of furniture, lighting, and decor that reflects a love for craftsmanship and design. Visit Marquee for a unique blend of nostalgia and contemporary aesthetics.

They also have a cool bar in the corner where you can hang out and grab a drink, as well as a few snack options if you get hungry while shopping. There is a LOT to see here, but it’s more curated and artistic than other antique shops. It is on the pricier side, so don’t plan to come here and snag a deal. It’s for unique, pieces you want to splurge on.

Antique Stores outside Asheville:

I would also consider getting outside the city into the smaller towns! This is a great way to potentially find cheaper prices and avoid crowds of people. Plus you get to have a bit of a fun adventure exploring the mountain towns that are so beautiful in their own ways.
